FRIDAY. JUNE 24th, 2011

Today I am 36 years old... Giving the life expectancy of an average male is 60, you might say I have less than 50% of my life to spend with... isk isk isk

How do I feel now? Well, mixed feelings... happy because today is my birthday (go figures!) and I am finally got a stable government job (fuhhh).

Not so happy because my life is finally just started ... and tons of catch-up I need to do, personally... With a few ups and downs for having started a bright future (hopefully) this late, I hope a could persevere and achieve my goals.

Thanks for all your wishes and support throughout my life... I will try to do my best from now on, with occasional quirky attitude just for sake of fun. (pardon me!)

Assalalammualaikum and God bless you all!

Now, if only I could find those massage ointment...arrghhh

35

TIGA lima, or Three Fives, or 555, is a small book that synonym with debt. It is an unofficial small book that often used as an reminder of how much a person owe to another, usually between a housewife and the sundry shop’s owner.

Long use before the arrival of credit cards, this book gave the holder a power to purchase goods from the shop and paying the amount at the later days, preferably at the end of the months. It is a ‘credit card’ in the 80s.

In this gloomy month that I am experiencing right now, I am presenting this book for all the well-wisher who has (and will) wishes me greetings, especially my friends from tagged.com and facebook. With my father’s health that seemed to be below the par, and my brother who is in his 25th days admitted in ICU, your greetings/wishes does glimmer some light of hopes to me.

Since I cannot repay the good deeds you have contributed, I’ll write your name in my personal 555 book, reminding me to repay them later…

Heh, I am 35 years old today… mid-30s... that darn burning massage cream is my companion!

TQ…

Another Year

ANOTHER year passed by in my life. I'm 34 today.

TV3's Wanita Hari Ini ran a show on Andartu (Spinster) yesterday. Although the show was hillarious because of the jokes by Harith Iskandar and Adibah Noor, I kept my distance from watching the shows. You know, the usual stuff, all the remarks that our parents will throw on us...

Sadly, I still rated my self as under achievers. No resolution for this year. Got a lot of issues to catch-up with my life. Your support (morally, of course) is higly appreciated.

Thank for all the greeting from my friends, especially those from facebook. Love you guys!

Pakcik

DROPPING by at the Shell Service Station to refuel my ride this afternoon, a teenager attendant in her early twenties, I guess, greeted me...

" Pakcik, nak berapa?" (Uncle, how much do you want?)

"Huh?"... prentending to be a little deaf, asking her to repeat what did she say.

"Pakcik, petrol nak berapa?" (Uncle, how much petrol do you want?)

Without uttering any word, I just raised my open hand, indicating 5.

"Pakcik nak petrol RM 5 ? Pakcik biasa pakai yang Super kan?" (Uncle, you wanted RM5 worth of petrol? Uncle, you used to the Super type, aren't you?)

I just nodded, giving her RM10, together with a smile. The teenager then refilled my ride and hand over RM 5 change to me.

"Ni baki nyer RM5, pakcik. Terima kasih..." (Here is your RM5 change, uncle. Thank you...)

****

Next Wednesday (June 24th) I will be 34. But felt the toll of 43 when the teenager calls me Uncle. I am soooooooo old already! Isk...

Muka punya la jambu macam nie pun orang dah mula panggil pakcik. Waaaaa!

Untitled

NOTHING to do or brag about for these past few weeks... Thanks to facebook, seems that all of the idea has been poured into it, leaving virtually nothing to blog. isk isk isk... Damn you, facebook!

A week ago, Abah celebrated his birthday at the hospital. My family and I gave a surprise wishes to him on that day, which fell on the same day as Agong's (Malaysia's King/Ruler) birthday. Aisey, have to adressed him as 'Tuanku' after this. Even the nurses pitched in by singging the Birthday Song to him. Wah, abah was their favourite patient.

Presenting the suprise birthday cake.

However, abah only taste the cake a little bit.

He is now resting a home with a quite demanding atitude. Please do this,.. please take this,.. do clean this,.. blah blah blah!

Managed to take a long nap this afternoon and was rewarded with a brisk pain in my neck. Heh, I think I have sprained my neck... ouch!

Any remedies?

Celebrating Towkey-Nyior's Birthday

WORKS just ran well today, nothing out of ordinary, except for a nice surprise that the staff of Lee Hong gave to our towkey-nyior.

Ahaks, it is her birthday today.

When we bought the cake, the baker did ask us how many candles should we used.

"Kalau ikut umur dia mau tidak cukup kek ni maa..., " exclaimed one of our staff.

And the cake was ready as we planned. Good thing towkey-nyior was not around. When she finally arrived, around 1700hrs, we sang Happy Birthday and presented her with our humble cake. And wish for our pay to be raised. Eheheh.

Good thing than I am a smoker. I provided the fire for the candle.

Kiwi cake. Yummy... and i gorged two slices of it.

When I boasted about it in YM, my friends then asked me about one important detail;

"Ar, tak poser ker?"

Oops! ehehehe

Happy Birthday, Madam Lee!
