The Power of Words

TWO things indicate weakness - to be silent when it is proper to speak, and to speak when it is proper to be silent...

One day, I will reach all my goals in life.... surviving alone in this current town is my first step... wish me luck!

Missy, the Grumpy Persian

AH... long time no see... So much new stuff I have to do here in Betong... Yes, I am now a government servant in Betong, Sarawak.

The only drawback here is the super slow internet connection... isk isk isk

Not Much to do here, just the life pace is slower than what I had in Sibu... But then, maybe I will live longer because of that.

I even have a pet here... introducing, missy, the grumpy persian... ehehe

Long Distance Relationships

image from: http://www.explodingdog.com/title/longdis.html(image: http://www.explodingdog.com/title/longdis.html)

I still remembered my first long distance relationship (LDR) which started around 9 to 10 years ago.

It started with a cordial chat, through mIRC, with a person who are from the land which formerly known as Temasek. “Pelangi Petang”, sung by the late Sudirman Haji Arshad, brought back the memories. Mind you, even our LDR did not last long, but it is long enough for me to understand the meaning of love, kindness, patience and despair. Not forgetting the experience of having a person occupying your heart throughout the ordeal.

After that, my love life wandered like the small soap bubbles in the sink – circling into the vortex which eventually will be drained out through that darn pipe. Having a network of close friends during those years somewhat occupy the void feeling I had then.

Through this, I would like to send a thousand loves and kisses to my friends from Bigboyz (formerly known as MyChub). Without the emotional supports from you guys, my world will be as dark and lonely as I would ever imagined.

Life goes on…

I followed my heart which landed me back to the Land of the Hornbills. If not, this would be my second LDR. The life pace here is totally the opposite of what I had back in KL. But I was determined, committed with what I have chose and was happy of it. Period.

Until,… something, somewhere, the relationship started to aged over time. We became duller and further apart. And it ended with a reminder that no matter how you chose or took to sustain a relationship, LDR or non-LDR, you are and always be an outsider in other’s family’s niche.

We finally parted with a mutual agreement. Though we are not together anymore, there is still a bond which reminded who we are before and after a long relationship.

Second stage…

I am back to my hometown, and prepared for any circumstances that comes along the way. Or it was my first thought… Getting laid here is rather easy. Hik. But getting someone to fill your heart is a challenge.

And as a single happy-go-lucky person in this town, I cannot avoid of the love-hate lonely feeling that keep haunting me all these time…

I started from a scratch here,.. and (maybe) I have met someone… and it is another LDR all over again…

Arghhhhhh!

I Hate those Video

MAYBE the scooter was not fast enough, or maybe the 24 wheelers lorry (at least) was too fast...

I know what will happened to me if I decided to watch the video. I know what will I see if my thumb press the play button.

Thinking of it, the gruesome videos of any post-mortem being done on a body does not affected me much, nor the graphical scene of any aftermath of an ill-fated accident. Any ghost related video does not affected me at all.

Having an experienced as a Medical Laboratory Technician trainee indeed prepared my for the worse. Even doing my own revision alone in the University Hospital Medical Museum is a blissful moment for me. Those was the my precious yet wasted years...

I remembered the first time I watched any bloody horror flick. Hellbound Hellraiser series demanded my respect for originality. Faces of Death almost makes me puked. Final Destinations (FD) I, II and III are cool for me, though I did not watched IV. Freddy was a joke for me. Cannibal Holocaust? Naah...

When I was 18 years old, while waiting for my turn for pre-university compulsory medical check-up in the Hospital Emergency Unit in Alor Star (my uncle pulled some magical string so that I can have my test being done there), I saw a scene where a young 12 years old boy being carried out by an unknown person out of a red Datsun, just at the entrance. The boy and his mother was standing at the corner of a wall of a bus terminal before being hit by a passing bus. I saw a big tear on his right thigh, almost a someone has zipped open his skin from top to bottom, revealing the flesh and bone. I was okay watching the scene at the moment, until after my mind kept rewinding them over and over again. Sensing that I might faint, I quickly sat on a chair and lowered my head and took a heavy breath.

The video.

I hate those video, but I keep watching them.

(Warning: Reader discretion is strongly advised for the following description)
The scene was a busy mid-day four-lane highway. The scooter was trying to take the left lane. The lorry was just a few feet behind him. Maybe the scooter was not fast enough, or maybe the wheeler was too fast. Just in an instant, the front-right side of the lorry hit the ill-fated scooter. The scooter lost its balance. In instant, the rider fall to the right and just as he touches the tar, the left front tyre of the lorry hit him, mostly at his hip. He never knew what hit him. Just as he rolled over, once, the second set of the left tyres hit him. This time those double/twin tyres hit his abdomen, exactly at his stomach areas. This time, even for a millisecond, his face was facing toward the lorry. Maybe this time he had a chance to see what hit him.

Moment later, a burst of blood can be seen, splattered on the road as if you punctured a tight water-filled balloon. Moment later, my heart was pounding hard. The rider was split into halves...

***

I watched this video over my friend's hand phone three nights ago. I watched it twice. And even until now the scene keeps repeating in my mind. It is not the aftermath that affected me much but watching the process, the event, the how the fatal accident flashing in my eyes that bothered me. Since then, I felt very uneasy when riding a motorbike, thinking the every day risk we take.

PETRONAS do have a great advertisement collections...

In the wake of the minor elections that is going on in Malaysia today, this video does reflect the majority (not all, I'm afraid) views of Malaysian.

Does it aroused some cute memories that you have trying to hide from others? ehehehe

Petrol Station's Promo - what a bummer?!

BELIEVE it or not, petrol station at this part of the world are mostly operator assisted. It is true, a non self-service petrol station is a good marketing tools for a lazy Malaysian (like me, hik) rather to get out from their vehicle just to queue-up at the service counter and then rushed back to fill-up own transport, and watching the face of another vehicle driver behind you, staring at you for taking a lot of his time waiting for you to finish-up pumping the car (pun intended).

Different is, the word "Super?" is now uttered by mostly school leavers who worked there as part timers. No foreign worker in this field working in Sibu. No more "Lama? Baru? Hijau? Merah?" Ehehe

After filling-up my bike at Shell station this evening for merely RM5/- (full tanks), the operator gave me some pamphlets. Ah, promotion, promotion, promotion. This time: New Ferrari models with touch steering, as seen in the commercial. Cool!

Sadly, you have to puchase RM40, at least, worth of petrol first before you can purchase them. Shit!

Wa pakai motosikal jer maaa... Mana mau isi minyak banyak nie?!!!
(I only ride motocycle maaa... Where should I fill that much of petrol?)

If only the petrol company still remember the motorbikes user still exist...

Adopt a Miracle!

SAD and anger filled my heart tonight watching the cruelty of some DBKL workers to the stray animals they caught. It was aired last night by TV3 through 360 degree programme. "To put to Sleep" is to kill the animal humanely, perferebably by injection, not by strangling/breaking the dog's neck nor by drowning the cats.

BABI la org kejam nie!

Just goggle for [DBKL animal cruelty} and you will know what I am talking about, not to mention other animal pound in Malaysia.

Naruto Vs Dragonball Z

BORED for nothing to do at home, and unable to go out because of the constant rain, I decided to surf.

While looking for a particular solo music in Naruto's Series, I stumble across an interesting video (and thought that came together with it)

Ahaks... Those days we are familiar with Dragon Ball series. Nowadays, Naruto still dominate the air. And what if both group fight each other... Some of you might be familiar with the video games (or such familiar genre). What about a short movie?

P.S.. I still unable to find that particular solo, the soundtrack with a flute solo.

What a Start!

WHAT a way it was to start the new year.

What a way to celebrate the most celebrated day in the world... - painting my house. Isk. Enough said, no need to explain further.

This year, the celebration in Sibu was not as happening as it used to be, thanks to the rainy season that we are having nowadays. Even now, the rain, started at 0800 this morning, still poured heavily. I celebrated the coming of the year at the express jetty, with some of my members. It was an amusing site to watch the tankers and express boats sounded their air-horn all together. They even shot their emergency flares to the sky just for the occasion. I can only see bright reds in the sky.

I lost a dear friend at the beginning of this year. Still, the news and the details of the accident still lingered in the office and JPJ. I saw the ill-fated Kancil at the Puspakom. Most of the runners still cannot believed what have happened. The stench of blood still can be felt if you stand close to the vehicle.

Almost drop to tears seeing the biscuits still in good condition. Heard that they purchased them on the way back. Blood stain are still visible.

Supian was on the passenger seat. Nobody can be still alive in this position.

The ill-fated Kancil

Ajal dan maut ditentukan Allah. Terimalah dengar redha. (Death is destined by Allah. Accept it with your heart)

I am now hooked in facebook. Meeting a lot af my past school mate. Most of them are married already. And the fact that their keep teasing me for still single is another topic of it's own. I use my real name there. Had to!

Other and that, nothing much happens in my life. Secebis Harapan, sung by Nora still playing in my mind, a reminder of hope for me of the challenges lies ahead...

Happy (belated) New Year, guys.

Berhati-hati di jalan raya
. Please, I don't want to loose any more friend this way!

Nyeh... no idea! (suei)

@upin01 KINDA a suei (chinese: unlucky) day for me today with a particular motorbike that I have to drove to Puspakom - a new blue colour Honda Wave 100. Isk

@upin02 It even don't have enough fuel to be ridden to the Petrol Station. Stuck in the midway, in the middle of the day, I had to wait for nearly half an hour just for a friend to push it to the station.

@ipin02 After had it filled for only RM2.00, I continued my journey to Puspakom only to find that the place was already closed for lunch. Alamak!

@ipin01 So I proceed to JPJ and parked it at the JPJ parking space which only designated for the staff. And again, the JPJ's chief (we call him as KC) caught me and held my helmet for ransom. Suei!

@kakros01 Luckly it was Friday, so I just drove back to home without helmet.

ARRRRGGHHHHH!

In the evening, I continued my driving class. Only today that I came accross with the term 3-point turning! ahaks

P.S. Use goggle/yahoo to find what is 3-point turning, k!

Do enjoy this short film:

Meeting Osama's Lost Twin.

THE internet connection at my office was down today, so I rushed to MAA buildings just to issue some cover notes.

In the afternoon, I took the liberty by calling Mr. Ahmad, my friend who works as an officer for EPF. His office is just a block away. We chatted with all out hearts out. And I managed to take some picture of him to be put into my blog, with permission of course.

He then told me to look for videos in youtube and search for ‘Osama lost twin’. Just to share you guys what the video is about… Ahaha.

I told him he has another ‘twin’ who lives near to my home. After mentioning the name, Ahmad then stated that the person IS his real brother. Yikes!
