IT is now official. Aidilfitri will be on October 1st, 2008 (Malaysia's time, of course)

With this, I wish all readers 'Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin'. Drives carefully on your way back to kampung.

For those who have to stay back for works: "Jaga diri baik-baik dan kita selalu mengingati korang... walaupon masa-masa nih sedap menjamah ketupat dan lemang serta rendang..."

For those who have not paid their zakat (tithe): "Tak reti-reti lagi ker?"

P.S. Huh, I will be busy tomorrow. Just received my salary, together with a great ang-pow from my towkey-nyior. Erk, already I have to add a lot of stuff for my home. Isk

Aidilfitri Preparation

QUITE busy today, doing so many errands for Aidilfitri/Hari Raya preparation. From 0900 untill 2343,  I was on the run, with my brother, in his new Avanza (hik!). We fetched our younger brother from Kuching at Sibu Bus Station at around 2330.

Assuming Aidilfitri falls on this coming Wednesday (October 1st), Malam Tujuh Likur is scheduled on tomorrow (depending how do you count it - presuming it fall on the 3rd night before Raya or 27th day of Ramadhan). We decided to buy so many decorating lights, especially the `rice' type. With my somewhat fair knowledge of electronics, I managed to modify some of them. Heh, looks nice, by the way. (Sorry, no accompanying picture just yet)

Pelita (oil lamp) is strangely hard to find in Sibu nowadays. Fortunately we still have some 'last year leftover' that can be used. The gasoline (here we called as minyak tanah) is very expensive - RM3.20 per litre. I bought RM10.00 worth and it barely fills 1/3 of the bottle I carried it with. Isk

And my preparation is almost complete. Don't want to mention about my baju raya. Isk.

Holiday leave? My boss deliberately granted my leave very last minutes which only starts on this coming Tuesday, even withholding my salary and ang-pow. Huh, a typical boss who wanted for maximum usage of my service yet pay for minimum wages (or lesser). Now I have to come-up with an excuse for not coming this Monday... eheheh

Banned from #MyChubs Dalnet

FEW days already past and my nick is banned from #MyChubs. Tengs dude!

Erm, the era of free (reasonable) speech, hug-able and harmonic groups; and firm-yet-wise-yet-merciful moderator is over.

(Really missed the departed GemokChub and HairyChub36, May Allah blessed their souls)

Some chatters still asked me the reason. Heh, not really sure lor. Better you asked the moderator(s) who banned me. For sure the bugger did not give me any explanation/reason.

How you can asked someone what he/she felt about you when the bloody keris is still on your hand? Feels free to explore this thought.

There is one peculiar white spot on the chicken poo. It is white, clean in colour... yet it is still shit!

Zakat Fitrah (Tithe)

THIS article should be posted two nights ago, but I had to postponed it due to some unrelated circumstances.. ehehe

One of the Pillars of Islam, I paid my zakat (tithe) two nights ago. Em, even though its getting higher and higher every year, it is still affordable. For Sarawak, it is RM 7.50

Have you paid your tithe (this question is for muslim, of course)? Come on, less that two weeks for Aidilfitri. Or are you a typical Malaysian who always do anything on soooo last minutes?

Believe it or not, nowadays you can even pay through sms.

I know I have paid mine.

Celebrating Towkey-Nyior's Birthday

WORKS just ran well today, nothing out of ordinary, except for a nice surprise that the staff of Lee Hong gave to our towkey-nyior.

Ahaks, it is her birthday today.

When we bought the cake, the baker did ask us how many candles should we used.

"Kalau ikut umur dia mau tidak cukup kek ni maa..., " exclaimed one of our staff.

And the cake was ready as we planned. Good thing towkey-nyior was not around. When she finally arrived, around 1700hrs, we sang Happy Birthday and presented her with our humble cake. And wish for our pay to be raised. Eheheh.

Good thing than I am a smoker. I provided the fire for the candle.

Kiwi cake. Yummy... and i gorged two slices of it.

When I boasted about it in YM, my friends then asked me about one important detail;

"Ar, tak poser ker?"

Oops! ehehehe

AdSense - Make Sense?

JUST checking my blog this morning.. kinda funny to see the advertisement (adv) in between post.

AdSense claimed that the adv they added are relevant to reader(s). Erm, some are true, but some are way out of this world. Its okay if the adv are in English or Bahasa Malaysia. But sometimes in Chinese/Mandarin on my blog? I am not racist, but I would prefer to know what the adv are actually said, at least. Beside, It's my Blog!

Nothing to do

GOT nothing to do and nothing worthwhile to post these past few days.

Except for obvious facts:

1. Fasting months - we have entered the second week... Another 2 more weeks for Hari Raya! (Alamak, zakat belom bayar lagi...)
   
2. Internet connection for my office and home are slower (sometimes none at all) for these past few days. Tried to call the Customer Service, and what did I get? - "Sorry. Our customer representative is currently busy at the moment. Please try later." :(
3. My brother finally got his new MPV - A new Toyota Avanza 1.5G. Did intervene during registration yesterday in order to get a better free Registration Number. eheheh QSQ6269. OK lor!
4. I was banned (maybe for good!) from #MyChubs Dalnet. Huh, political reason, they said. A spy for BBM, I was accused. Get real! What to spy for? James Bond is not my fav movie. I guess, the new Ops is overwhelmed with his power. Kowser merk dgn ops yg giler kuaser. Maybe this foresaid channel is going towards its doom, again. (Abu, please do something about this. And get the facts right, this time!)

As I said, I have got nothing to report for these past few days.

Google Chrome

WAH, a new browser to compete with IE and Firefox (and maybe Opera & Netscape, if u still using them) has now emerged.

Tried and tested it... So far, the download pages seems to be faster than FF3. It copied all my history, bookmarks and saved password from FF3.. cool!

Ramadhan 1st, 1429H

AUGUST was a blast for me, especially throughout the end and we starts the new months together with the fasting month.

Alhamdulillah, all ran swell today. Good thing it is public holiday today, so we can have time to adjust to the new day of Ramadhan. Actually, I have to work today, but decided to skip to work! ehehe, Sorry boss!
